A difference that will make the world environment a better place for the future wellbeing of our children and the planet. We know that the future for our transportation lies in the electric drive for all vehicles. We have the fuel... electricity. We have the infrastructure... the grid. Our quest was to develop a user friendly, safe and innovative means of completing that last 25% of the delivery chain to the roadside and the electric vehicle user.
Okay, we know that work needs to be done in making our electricity supply greener, we accept that. But that change is happening, and there are many companies dedicated to changing the way electricity is made. Even taking into account the CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process, electric cars are around 50% greener when powered by a mix of fossil fuels and renewable energy and around 70% greener when powered by electricity from a renewable source and there is no getting away from the fact that electric vehicles produce zero emissions at point of use and there is a bonus, the world will be a quieter place.
We think through our designs carefully. We are conscious of the eco friendly nature of the materials we use. Our staff ethos is to always consider the environment. With this ethos in mind 90% of our Elektrobay can be recycled. We re-use our packaging and our day to day running around is done in an electric car. Currently, the whole design and production of the Elektrobay is done within a fifty mile radius of our Brighton office. We plan to keep it that way.
There is still more we can do and as our company grows, so will our commitment to the planet and producing a sustainable, zero-emission transport infrastructure.
